Bandon Oregon is gaining international notoriety for world-class golf courses.  This qaint, coastside town in southern Oregon offers other activities to dovetail with golf while out on vacation.  Other popular activites nearby include beachcombing, horseback riding, wind surfing, agate collecting, crabbing and clamming, and of course, guided fishing.  The Coquille River enters the Pacific Ocean at Bandon.  Other wonderful opportunites for salmon and steelead fishing are available all within an hours drive of Bandon.  The mouth of the Rogue River, the Elk and Sixes Rivers, and Coos Bay at Charelston all produce salmon.  Late summer through late fall is primetime.
