Doogie B. displays a boxful of fish landed on a recent trip with Roaring Fork Guide Service

It was one of those magical summer days we all dream about.  A one day low pressure system rolled in and turned those spooky,  tentative,  river ghosts into aggressive, hard-biting, tail-walking metalheads.  The sudden cool, rainy weather just turned the steelhead on big time.  We ended up 4 for 4 on steelhead and 1 for 3 on salmon.  It put a big old smile on Doogie's face, and to think, he almost punted because of a little rain.  In fact, it was that  "miserable" rain that actually made his day.
