This past week we continued to find fish on both the South Santiam and the McKenzie Rivers. We found better steelhead action on the South Santiam trip, connecting with 5 steelhead and 2 Springers. Yesterday on the McKenzie, we landed 5 Springers while losing anther 4. Water temperature remains suprisingly low which can make for a tough bite early in the day.
