Yesterday we ran just the short program on the McKenzie. We started at mid-day and still the fish gods smiled on us. My guest Joy Higens out of Colorado proved top rod landing 3 salmon, the largest, tipping the scale 20lbs. Her husband, "Vinny the Stick," once again exibited his old bassing tactics by spanking a spunky steelhead on the magical plastic worm. Great weather, fun day with quite a show from the very successful osprey working the waters for trout.
