While we continue to tie into great fighting fish on the McKenzie, folks continue to do well on the Willamette -Middle Fork.  I spoke with a guide yesterday that said he has been hammering fish on the Middle Fork's "Town Run".  He told me several of the pools are absolutely stuffed with steelhead.  A tip of the hat to ODFW for creating such a successful urban fishery.  Let's hope they continue in this vein and diversify more of the smolt release locations on other rivers.
