Spring Chinook & Summer Steelhead Now Arriving

High water levels are making boating and fishing a tad difficult at the moment in the southern Willamette Valley. We are picking up a few steelhead and Springers, but finding fish and rowing a drift boat is a chore right now with swollen rivers and fast flow rates. Dry and warmer weather is in the forecast for this coming week. Less rain and warmer water temperatures should improve migration conditions for the steelhead and salmon. We are expecting a nice pack of Springers to be arriving any day now here on my local river, the McKenzie located near the Eugene/Sprinfield area.
