John Gross: Owner and Operator of Roaring Fork Guide Service

Posted 4 Mar 2000 - 8:21pm

Guide and outfitter John Gross, the operator of Roaring Fork Guide Service has been working the Oregon rivers for more than a decade (see list of rivers he has covered [0]) and has guided in Alaska as well. With his experience and expertise as a fishing guide, you can successfully target the current "hot spots" at any given time.

If your interests extend beyond fishing, you'll be in good company.  John's education and early professional experience in natural resources -- coupled with his intimate knowledge of the river ecosystems -- will help deepen your understanding and appreciation of Oregon's unique natural assets.

At home in the fly-tying room, John quickly whips out some
pink bunny flies before heading off to stalk summer steelhead.
