Low water level in the McKenzie is making fishing and boating a greater challenge. Even so, we were amply rewarded this past week on all our guided driftboat trips down the beautiful McKenzie River. As the Spring Chinook respond to the low water conditions by assuming a less agressive posture, more Summer-Run Steelhead are moving in daily now to diversify the catch.
