With temperatures in the mid 90s for several days last week, fishermen experienced a tougher bite. We took our first zonking of the season on Thursday, followed by two single salmon days each. Yesterday however, temperatures returned to the 80s and the fish responded favorably to the cooler weather. We were excited to see the change and ended up with 4 nice hatchery (keeper) salmon on yesterday's drift. Forecasts show the next few days in the 70s with morning clouds. Excellent fishing will hopefully result with milder weather.
