Ron & Jen Mirabile had a great late season trip for McKenzie River Salmon. Apparently, under duress, Jen had only reluctantly agreed to a fishing trip with her husband Ron. If memory serves correctly, she ended up the "hot hooker" of a trip that yielded limits for everyone. Rumor even has it that we may very well see her again! New salmon continue to arrive daily on the McKenzie. It has been a very late run this season and it is atypical to see as many nice fish still being caught well into August. Summer Steelhead also contiue to arrive and provide bonus sport along with great fly-fishing for trout.
