No Rain & Low Water Made for a Tough Fall Cinook Season on the Elk & Sixes Rivers
Submitted by John Gross on 13 December 2011 - 10:57am.
A few very fortunate anglers were blessed with good timing this fall down on Elk-Sixes. While most anglers have been faced with tough drought-like conditions, this father and sons trio teamed up on memorable effort landing several chrome-bight beauties during their Elk River fishing adventure. Each individual played a key role in the effort. Jamie (dad) rowed the boat into the correct slot to find an aggressive and cooperative fish. Wyatt hooked and played the fish like a pro while his younger brother Dillon deftly handled the net. Success was particularly sweet since this trip was their first ever rowing down the Elk River! |
