Elk - Sixes

Just back from Elk - Sixes where the fishing was fast and furious. I wish I was still down there but have some family obligations this week. Huge, chrome, late-run fatties were absolutely hammering the Kwikfish. We caught one little 19 lb chrome-ball. The rest hovered around the upper 20s and and lower 30s. NICE, BIG, FISH! My apologies for the lag in reports........to much to do, too little time. Chinook fishing on the Elk and Sixes should continue through December. By January and February we are well into winter steelhead on a host of western rivers including the Elk and Sixes, Coquille, Umpqua, Siuslaw, Siletz, Alsea and others. Fish-on! |
