With 20,000 Springers over Willamette Falls we finally have viable fishing on the Mckenzie, the Middle Fork Willamette, and the South Santiam. We went out for a very quick scouting run on the McKenzie yesterday morning and landed 2 nice hatchery Springers and missed a couple short biters. The Army corps of Engineers has reduced the releases out of Foster Reservoir to bring river levels on the South Santiam to excellent levels for boating and fishing. It's time to go get um!
